The legal owner of a property is responsible for all sewer bills. If you move, buy or sell the property, it is your responsibility to notify our office of all changes within 30 days.

Equivalent Residential Unit - ERU

The District's billing system is based upon the value assigned to a residential customer with a single-family home equaling 1.0 ERU.

How the Annual Sewer Service Charges are Calculated

Billable ERUs, as shown on the front of your bill, are based on the number and type of individual sewer connections. The annual sewer service charges are calculated by multiplying the Annual Sewer Service Rate by the Billable ERUs. A $16.00 charge, per account, is applied for quarterly billing costs.

Commercial Customers

Commercial customers are billed based upon the type of business and number of fixtures within the structure that drain to the sewer system. You must inform the District prior to any changes in business use and/or the installation or removal of fixtures. The District may at any time, but is not obligated to, inspect the billing units on a customer's property. You have the right to request an on-site inspection.

Change in Name or Billing Address

Has your name or billing address changed? To ensure prompt updating of your account, use the back of the return envelope that is enclosed with your bill or email us at CustomerService@CleanWaterTeam.com. Please do not write name or address changes on the remittance stub.

A change to your bill could be the result of the following occurrences:

  • Any change to your account which affects the number of billable ERUs
  • Any penalty or lien service charge that has been applied
  • Any unpaid balance from any prior year

If the title to your property has been updated or changed, your previously saved autopay will no longer function, and you will need to reregister your online account with InvoiceCloud

You can view frequently asked billing questions on our Customer FAQs page.

Your Bill is Due and Payable Upon Presentation

If the minimum payment is not received within 30 days, the account will become delinquent. Delinquent bills are subject to lien and a penalty. Unpaid balances will be attached to the property tax bill.
